Post bubble desperation

With no news of their own to harp about, Sox fans emerged from their post-bubble stupor with plenty of opinions about the northsiders. As my old friend Billy S. used to say "Doth does protest too much". With the Brain drain trust of Primo(Williams) and Secundi(Ozzie) standing pat with their broken arm pitchers and still claiming they got the best of the Thomas trade, they further deflected by slamming the Cubs.

How any team can complain about the Soriano deal can only be put on jealously. Who cares if they paid too much, its not our money and daddy won't stop spending. When badgered about potential moves, Primo gets edgy and tries to convince Southsiders that they are well positioned to repeat. The facts state otherwise; Detroit is hot and got hotter w/Shef, Minnesota is just starting to peak. The Sox are in the toughest division and desperately need offense and pitching.

Imagine Soriano on the southside, what an addition that would have been! They would have been right in the mix. But Primo never even considered it.

I'll give them credit for their 1 and done, it was the best thing to happen to the Cubs. What gets at Primo and Secundi the most is that they are second fiddle. Once and for all lets get it straight, the Sox can win 3 or 4 series in a row but the Cubs own this town! Its only now that the Cubs are acting like they want it.

hey wait, i thought the Sox were The most popular team in town, regardless of what sport, even after a 3d place finish......guess the cubs will have to finish higher than 75th to try to reclaim ..................well whatever they can, i guess............oh wait, i forgot that the cubbies were always the most popular team in town, despite being outdrawn by the Sox NINETEEN OUT OF TWENTY STRAIGHT YEARS @ one point........................oh well, the cubs would never do anything that would look silly, like, oh, put up a statue of one of the great Sox announcers in front of the park..........shit, since the Sox are most intriguing team in town rite now, and by FAR, does this mean that Hawk Harrleson is also gonna get his statue in front of wiggly park now ????
ps.....soriano deal is very good- they gotta do something now to try to gain attention, and yes he will help the team.......maybe they finish in the top twenty in their division this year !!
