Cub fans are booing their players again. Jaques Jones has been a target since last year, Sammy Sosa before him but the latest mark is stud pitcher/batter Carlos Zambrono. What a bizzare year he has had- from allowing White Sox to actually beat him and other losses the first 1/3 of the season, back to his usual dominating self for the next third, and now terrible again.I wouldn't boo. No matter how bad he's doing rite now, he's still the teams dominant ace when he's on. He's way too important for the staff to go into too long a funk. The incident in his latest start shouldn't be too overblown-a bad game, yes, in the midst of a bunch of bad games- but he remains the best pitcher on a pretty good staff.
H has had this type of blow up before. From what I've noticed, he usually gets over his pout and performs well. My guess is that his next start will be a return to form. Cheer him, he probably's deserves it.
